Scientific Works of NCFSCHVW. Fundamental basis of modern breeding and improvement of regional garden and grape assortment.
The collection of scientific papers contains the results of research, presented at the International scientific conference «Fundamental basis of modern breeding and improvement of regional garden and grape assortment», carried out with financial support from the RFFR and the Administration of the Krasnodar Territory, research project 19-44-231001 r_g.
The presented articles focus on the problem of accelerating the breeding process of domestic garden and grape varieties based on new methodological approaches and the use of modern methods of DNA technology, biotechnology, physiology and biochemistry, allowing to obtain fundamental results for further breeding. The key aspects of variety improving, new principles and methods for assessing the species and variety composition, biological diversity of crops, the selection of donors and sources of valuable traits for purposeful crossings are considered. A special place in the publication is devoted to the preservation, replenishment and study of genetic collections, to the improving of the assortments of Krasnodar Region and others regions of plant cultivation by a new generation of immune, adaptive, productive varieties with high commodity qualities of fruits and berries. The collection is intended for breeders, genetics, teachers, post and graduate students, students of higher educational institutions of agricultural and biological profile, as well as specialists in the field of horticulture and viticulture
